After searching through the podcast directories I only found one that was interesting to me. Podfeed.net offers Storynory hosted by HRH Prince Bertie the Frog. Storynory features children's stories and fairy tales to listen to online or download to an ipod. I had troubles linking to Bloglines but then I have had trouble with anything related to Bloglines. Instead I posted the link to Facebook.
There are many possible uses for podcasts in the library. We could offer storytimes for customers to access online making programs available to families, teachers, and caregivers at their convenience. It would also be beneficial for staff to receive training and meeting info through podcasts.
